At the main menu, use the Right

"Time Travel Will Tell" achievement to
unlock the Dempsey and Richtofen

Hidden Thunder Gun in "Numbers"
mission
At the beginning of Mission 7:
Numbers, after the Nova 6 Gas is
released, go to the back of the room,
and enter the office. Find the tape
recorder, and hold [Action] to pick it
up. If done correctly, the screen will
shake. Continue through the level
until you get to the part where you
jump off the roof into the building
and onto the mattress. Once Clarke is
inside, he will move a fridge leading
to the weapon stash. You must watch
him move the fridge or you will not
get the Thunder Gun. Once you get
inside the stash, go to the left. You
should see another tape recorder.
Walk up to it, and hold [Action] to pick
it up. If done correctly, the screen
will shake and the Thunder Gun will
appear from the wall. You can trade
the weapon you are holding for it,
and it will be equipped with twelve
shots. After you get the Thunder Gun,
the rest of the level should be very
easy.
In Mission 7: Numbers, after
interrogating Clarke, several enemy
soldiers will appear at the end of the
long hallway. If you shoot all six Nova
6 canisters (two in the back, four on
the sides), you can retrieve a cassette
tape in the office behind where you
started. Note: It is recommended that
you toss a flashbang to blind the
enemies so you can shoot the
canisters more easily. Once you pick
up the tape, continue progressing
through the mission until the part
where Weaver and Clarke both jump
off the roof and onto a mattress.
After they jump down, Clarke will ask
Weaver to help him move a fridge out
of the way to his first weapon stash.
Once they do, go inside, and look to
the left. There should be a place to
put the cassette. Note: When picking
up and placing the cassette tape, the
game will not prompt you to do
anything -- you must use this
information to know when to do these
things. Once you insert the cassette
tape, the screen will shake, and the
Thunder Gun will appear out of the
wall. It has twelve bullets, and it is
reloaded at checkpoints.
All Zombie maps
Successfully complete the indicated
task to unlock the corresponding
Zombies mode map:
Dead Ops Arcade: Play the Dead Ops
Arcade game or successfully complete
the game. The map description reads
"Step back through time with this
retro arcade zombie adventure and do
battle with the forces of the Cosmic
Silverback."
Der Riese: Requires a unique code
that is included with the Call Of Duty:
Black Ops Hardened and Prestige
Edition.
Five: Successfully complete Campaign
mode on any difficulty. The map
description reads "The Pentagon is

Make a crawler, then go into the
middle room, and adjust the DEFCON
level to DEFCON 5. All teleporters will
take you to the Presidential Suite. All
switches are in that room; three are
upstairs and one is downstairs.

Search the indicated locations to find
all 42 Intel laptops:
Mission 1: Operation 40
1. It is on a crate inside a building
after going up a hill and passing a
weapon depot. It is straight ahead as
you enter the building with Woods
and Bowman leading the way.
2. It is on the dresser inside of a
bedroom with a bed and TV in the
next area you enter after you have
killed the fake Castro.
3. It is on top of a ladder inside of the
first hangar you enter just after you
rappel down from the mountain to the
airfield.
Mission 2: Vorkuta
4. It is on top of a cabinet on the
second floor of the first building you
enter with Reznov just after the
prisoners have taken out the tower
after moving along the train yard
behind cover.
5. It is on a table inside the armory
with a few radios. The armory is just
after Sergei dies from holding the
security door open for you and the
other prisoners to get through.
6. It is on the bottom shelf of a rack
near the back of the building you
start in after the cutscene from being
gassed. There will be a pallet jack and
lantern in front of it. You must grab
this Intel before getting on the bike.
Mission 3: U.S.D.D.
None
Mission 4: Executive Order
7. It is on the third floor of the
communications building on top of the
right table that is underneath the
four TV's and golden emblem. You
must grab this Intel before going up
the ladder to the top of the
communications building.
8. It is inside the control room for the
rocket. It is in the far left corner
after you blow a hole in the wall on
top of the computer in the corner.
9. It is inside another control room
underground on top of a radar
computer below the window. This is
down the hall to the right after the
offices.
Mission 5: S.O.G.
10. It is on top of a bunch of ammo
crates in the back area you are
defending from being rushed by the
enemy and when you need to destroy
the three T55 tanks. You must grab
this Intel before following Woods into
the hole in the ground.
11. It is in the bunker at the bottom
left corner of the hill. It is sitting
inside the right window.
12. It is in the larger bunker you
enter after saving Woods. It is on a
shelf after you pass through the
collapsed support beams on fire in the
right corner of the same room. You
must grab this Intel before following
Woods and entering the vehicle.
Mission 6: The Defector
13. It is on a table in the security
room after you breached the room to
find Reznov in it. This is also the same
room with a projector and where
there is a short cutscene.
14. It is on a table with a TV inside of
a building down the street from when
you first use the radio to call in air
support and where you travel with the
M113 armored vehicle.
15. It is inside of a building on a table
in the corner at the end of the
mission when you have to defend the
landing zone. Make sure to grab this
Intel before enemies start coming. It
will also be right after you have to
place the C4 on the above wall and
then the tank on the street explodes.
It is the building at the back far right
corner from when you come out of
the building you used the C4 in.
Mission 7: Numbers
16. It is at the beginning of the level
after you have interrogated Clarke. It
is on a desk in the back right corner
behind you. You must grab this Intel
quickly so the Nova 6 gas does not
kill you.
17. It is lying on the ground in front
of a shack with garbage all around on
the ground. This is just after you slide
down the metal roofing, and the game
goes into slow-motion so you can kill
the enemies that appear.
18. It is lying on the metal roofing
with garbage as you continue to
descend after Clarke gets shot in the
head while you are trying to save him.
This is just before the end of the level
where you slide down plywood.
Mission 8: Project Nova
19. It is on a table with a lantern and
files in the two-story building you
come across approximately halfway
through the mission. There are two
snowplows outside the entrance.
20. It is on a table next to a cabinet in
the hangar with a rocket in it. The
table is in a room in the back right
corner. You will need to pass through
this hangar to continue the mission.
21. It is on a pallet that is almost
completely covered in snow at the end
of the ship. It is right before the
stairs to the right. You must grab this
Intel before you use the rope to get
off the ship and before time runs out.
Mission 9: Victor Charlie
22. It is lying against the wall near
the west corner of the hut. It is right
before you knife someone in the back
and just after knifing someone in
their sleep after climbing through a
window with Woods.
23. It is lying on the ground inside the
hut at the end of the village. It is
straight ahead from where you enter
the village. The Intel is in the east
corner of the hut. The village is just
after the river area you swim through
and plant explosives.
24. It is in the left tunnel after
Reznov helps you move a barrier
blocking the path to the next tunnel.
When you lead the way, instead of
going straight, go left. It is lying on
the ground against a rock on the
right-hand side of this tunnel.
Mission 10: Crash Site
25. It is on a crate next to some
barrels at the beginning of the
mission. It is just before you get on
the boat and after the helicopter.
26. It is right after you get off the
boat. It is lying on the right side of
the dirt path in front of you next to a
rock as you follow your squad towards
the next objective.
27. It is on a rock just below the
crashed plane. When you start to
descend from the wing, it is right
below you before you enter the plane.
Mission 11: WMD
28. It is where you breach the
barracks with your squad. It is the
second time that you leave Blackbird.
It is down the steps to the left on the
desk as you enter the barracks.
29. It is on a bench inside of the
utility room located in the
communications tower. It is on the
second level, which is the level you
enter the door from at the far left
corner and right before you head
down the stairs.
30. It is on a table with explosives in
front of the office that is inside of the
large warehouse with explosives
everywhere else. You can grab this
Intel before or after entering the
office. However, it is easier to get it
before entering since there is not any
resistance.
Mission 12: Payback
31. It is on a shelf inside the large
ammunition room you enter after
going through the left or right tunnel
when you escape. It is on the right
side of the room. You must grab this
Intel before continuing and exiting
the underground area with Woods.
32. It is on the table with a radio to
the right of the tent when you exit
the underground area. You must grab
this Intel before getting in the
helicopter with Woods.
33. It is right after you have freed the
POWs. It is on a crate in the area to
the far left just before you reach the
building where Kravchenko is inside
on the second floor.
Mission 13: Rebirth
34. It is lying on the ground next to
the crate to your left as you exit the
shipping container that you were
hiding in. Kill the enemy in front of
you, grab the Intel, then move
quickly so you do not get spotted from
the helicopter in the area.
35. It is on a cage with a monkey in it
inside of the containment unit in the
center of the room. Do not shoot the
enemy inside; instead knife him. If
you shoot him, the containment unit
will close, making it impossible to
grab the Intel located inside of it.
However, if you make this mistake,
simply die, and start from the last
checkpoint to try again.
36. It is shortly after you have put on
the gas mask when the area gets
gassed with Nova 6. You will first pass
through one house, and then continue
up the road to reach the next
checkpoint. Before you go into the
next house with the checkpoint, there
is a house in front of it to the right
that contains the Intel. It is sitting on
the cabinet with a bunch of pots.
Mission 14: Revelations
37. It is on top of a vending machine
in the first hallway to your left after
you have broken out of the chair and
stumble through the doors.
38. It is inside the trash can to the
right on the left side of the wall after
you exit a room that triggers a long
flashback cutscene. This is right after
Intel #37.
39. It is on the desk to the left inside
of the first office room you come
across after you have a flashback with
JFK as you head down the long
hallway with the rocket taking off in
the background.
Mission 15: Redemption
40. It is just behind the first shipping
container you come across. It is lying
on the ground under the door. It is
right before you need to use the
Valkyrie Rockets to take out the two
helicopters above you.
41. It is in the second room you enter
when you are inside the ship. It is
under the table in front of you with a
bunch of crates as you enter on the
other side of it. This room is after the
locker room.
42. It is in the office room at the end
of the mission before you fight
Dragovich. It is under the left desk
with the phone. This office room is
right next to the control room which
is flooded on the lower level -- the
room you enter just after going up the
stairs.

Clearing the trenches in battle of
Khe Sanh
At the battle of Khe Sanh, you are
told to clear the trenches, but it is
not exactly clear how to do this. You
must run to the two giant striped
barrels near the bottom of the hill
and kick them down into the trench.
Hide behind the sandbags, and shoot
at the Viet Cong until it is relatively
clear. Then, run to the nearby barrel,
and follow the prompt to stab it and
kick it down the hill.
Secret Gamerpics in Zombies mode
("Annihilation" DLC)

In the "Shangri-La" map in Zombies
mode, find all three meteorites. The
first is located in the spawning room
near a broken pillar, to the left of the
top-most window behind the Quick
Revive machine. The second is located
past the mud pits and Perk machine,
but before the bridge, in the grass to
the left when facing the bridge from
the Perk machine. The third is located
underground in the room past the
AK74u, just above the water near the
railing, across from the Perk machine
in that room. Press [Use] when near
each of the meteorites. When all
three have been activated, the song
"Pareidolia" by Elena Siegman will
play.
Secret Gamerpics in Zombies mode
("Escalation" DLC)
Find the vodka bottle, and save the
original characters in Solo mode to
unlock the Nikolai and Takeoa
Gamerpics. Note: Nikolai's Gamerpic
can also be unlocked in Co-op mode.
Wunderwaffle in Zombies mode
("Escalation" DLC)
Find the Golden Rod, and save the
original characters.
Power box location in Zombies mode
("Escalation" DLC)
The power switch is located on the
half-sunken ship to your right when
you start. The boat that covers the
entrance costs 500 points. When you
go up the ship's side, continue
straight until you see a stairway to
your left leading upstairs. It costs 750
points to enter. Once inside, go to
either the right or left of the cabin
and go inside, where you will find a
stairway leading up again. Go up and
move around the room to find a door
that costs 750 points. Open this door,
and the power switch will be to your
right when you walk in.
Defeating George the director in
Zombies mode ("Escalation" DLC)
It is recommended you do not fight
George the director until you obtain
the new Wonder Weapon and upgrade
it through Pack-A-Punch, as you will
not be able to kill him without it.
Shooting him, blowing him up, and
even knifing him will cause him to
roar in fury, then charge at full sprint
after you and your allies until
everyone is dead. If this happens, you
can lead him to any large body of
water to calm him down. Additionally,
the power must be active before you
can damage him.
Springing platforms and ziplines in
Zombies mode ("Escalation" DLC)
If you want to use either the
platforms or zipline, you must first
activate the power. Then, you must
unlock the area that the platform or
zipline ends at or else it will not bring
you anywhere. The zipline can be used
if there is no notice saying "Closed
set" (indicating that you must unlock
it) or "Power must be on" (power
needs to be turned on). Once the
zipline is active, jump into it near the
edge to use it. The springing platform
can be used once the area (lighthouse
base) is open, and the power is on.
When you stand on it, you will hear a
compression sound, and after a
moment it will launch you away.
Note: Zombies and George can also
use the springing platforms and
ziplines.
Freezing zombies ("Escalation" DLC)
If you lead a group of zombies into
the water and keep them in there
long enough, it will cause them to
freeze for a moment, allowing you to
run away or kill them easier.
Zombie perks ("Escalation" DLC)
The following Zombies mode perks are
available in the "Escalation" DLC:
Double Tap, Juggar-naught, Speed
Cola, Stamin-Up, Dr. Phlopper, Quick
Revive, and Deadshot. The Deadshot
perk lets you snap-aim (holding down
your ADS while an enemy is near) to
the zombie's head instead of its torso.
Hear "Abracadavre" song by Elena
Siegman in "Ascension" map ("First
Strike" DLC)
In the "Ascension" map in Zombies
mode, there are three teddy bears
holding a sickle. Press X while
standing next to each one, and you
will hear a sound. Once you activate
all three teddy bears, the
"Abracadavre" song by Elena Siegman
will play. The first teddy bear is
located to the left of the Olympia
shotgun in the starting room. The
second one is behind the fence across
from where the claymores are bought.
The third one is near the lunar lander
by the Speed Cola machine.
Easy points in "Five" map
In the "Five" map in Zombies mode,
destroy the glass doors at the start,
and then rebuild them for easy points.
Let the zombies destroy the barriers
and come into the office, and then
kill them to earn extra bonuses. Shoot
the zombies three to four times in
Rounds 1 and 2, and then knife them
to get extra points.
Hiding spot in "Five" map
In the "Five" map in Zombies mode,
once you go downstairs, stand in front
of the larger elevator. While in front
of it, go left along the desks next to
the teleporter. Stand behind the
railing so you can see it long ways.
Dolphin dive on top of it. This may
require a few attempts. Once you are
on top of the railing, stand up, and
keep jumping up until you are onto of
the teleporter. Zombies cannot touch
you unless you get too close to the
stairs. You can get a lot of points
because the zombies will gather
around, and when you shoot at the
crowd, it is very hard to miss.
Hear "Don't Back Down" song by
Eminem in "Five" map
In the "Five" map in Zombies mode,
find the three red rotary phones
throughout the Pentagon that ring
and flash. The first phone can be
found when you first start, after
opening a set of doors in the corner.
The second phone is inside the
conference room on the second floor
where the Pack-A-Punch machine is
located. The third phone is in one of
the rooms after leaving the second
elevator on the floor that the power is
on. You can find the phones by
following their ringing. Look at the
phone, then hold [Action] until you
hear a busy signal. After all phones
are accessed, the song "Don't Back
Down" by Eminem will play.
Hear "115" song by Elena Siegman in
"Kino Der Toten" map
In the "Kino Der Toten" map in
Zombies mode, find the three meteors
throughout the map. The first meteor
is located on a pedestal in a corner
behind the soda in the main lobby.
The second meteor is on a pedestal in
the dressing room near some
mannequins. The third meteor is the
room upstairs near the alleyway, on a
dresser with black marquee letters.
The meteors appear as red veined
rocks. Hold [Action] on each meteor
until your character says something
or the veins in the rock glow red.
After all three meteors are found, the
song "115" by Elena Siegman will play.
Hear "Sympathy For The Devil" song
by The Rolling Stones in "Nuketown"
map
In the Nuketown map, shoot the
heads off all the mannequins in under
fifteen seconds of the round
begginning to hear the song
"Sympathy For The Devil" by The

Easy "Frag Master" achievement
In Campaign mode, during the battle
of Khe Sanh when the NVA are
pouring out of the tunnels in the
background, keep throwing grenades
into the crowd until you get the "Frag
Master" achievement.
In Multiplayer mode, have five
friends cram together, and then
throw a frag grenade to kill them all
and get the "Frag Master"
achievement.
In Zombies mode with at least two
players, blow the legs off five
zombies, and then have another
player stand in one place while the
zombies crawl towards them. When
they are all attacking the other play,
throw a frag grenade to kill them all
and get the "Frag Master"
achievement.
Easy "Hands Off The Merchandise"
achievement
In Round 4 on the "Five" map in
Zombies mode, try to shoot a zombie's
legs off so it is crawling around
before the round ends, as this will
give you time to turn the power on.
The Thief shows up randomly after
you turn the power on. The strategy
used in the video was done in Single
Player mode.
Easy "I Hate Monkeys" achievement
In the Rebirth labs, fire the China
Lake into the central chamber of the
lab. There will be an explosion in the
chamber that releases Nova 6 gas
that will kill the soldiers and all of the
monkeys.
Easy "Quiet On The Set" achievement
("Escalation" DLC)
Wait until a zombie drops the "Death
Machine" perk, and be near George
when you pick it up. Shoot at him as
much as possible. Since the Death
Machine has infinite ammunition for
a short time, this will deal a lot of
damage to Romero. Even if you pull
him into the water and he returns to
normal, this will still cause damage.
It requires a very large amount of
damage to defeat him. You do not
necessarily need to turn the power on
or kill him near the water; just as
long as you keep doing damage to
him, any weapon will eventually kill
him. His light hammer will turn from
blue to orange when you are close to
defeating him.
Easy "Rhino" achievement
In the Dead Ops Arcade game, when
you get to a higher round (for
example, Round 8 or 10), use a meat
power-up at the start of the round.
When the zombies pour in, wait a bit,
then use the speed power-up to get
the "Rhino" achievement.
Easy "Sally Likes Blood" achievement
In Mission 6: The Defector, at the part
where you go inside the building with
Bowman, Reznov, and Woods (the one
where the man is crying over his dead
friend), go upstairs. There will be two
VC in front of you and three more
behind the window next to them. Aim
precisely so that you can kill all three
of them in one shot. This area is a
checkpoint -- so if you miss, kill
yourself, and try again.

wire. After several seconds, the
screen will shake, and you will hear

Bonus Gamerpics
When you reach a new Prestige rank,
you will unlock a Gamerpic matching
the Prestige symbol. Reach the 10th
Prestige to unlock the Sgt. Reznow
Gamerpic.
Easy Veteran mode
At the mission selection screen,
choose a mission on the Veteran
difficulty. After the first checkpoint,
save the game, and quit. Go back to
the mission selection screen, and
choose the same mission, but change
the difficulty to Recruit. While the
mission is loading, you will see a
white bar at the bottom of the screen.
When the bar reaches approximately
33%, eject the disc or go to the Xbox
Live Dashboard. Then, reload the
game, and select "Resume". You
should now be playing the mission on
the Veteran difficulty, but with
Recruit AI.
Infinite ammunition
Use a gun with a bipod attachment.
Lie down, deploy the bipod, and press
Left Analog-stick Up. The ammo bar
should disappear. You can now fire as
long as desired without reloading or
running out of ammo.
Take a machine gun that can be
mounted, and mount it onto
something or just the floor. Press Left
Analog-stick Up, and your ammo bar
will disappear. You will now have
unlimited ammunition, but only while
it is mounted.
Extra ammunition
Use the following trick if run out or
are running low on ammunition on
any mission in Solo mode on any
difficulty. Find a non-essential
teammate (someone not involved in
the story line). Walk up to him, and
aim the reticule next to his head or
torso. Knife the air, and as you do so
move slightly towards them so that
the reticule is over them. If done
correctly, he should die and drop his
weapon. Non-essential teammates will
get replaced when you walk into a
battle. If the teammate does not die
but keeps getting back up, they are
essential to the story (for example,
Sgt. Roebuck and Sgt. Rezenov).
Hide among the dead in Multiplayer
mode
Find some dead bodies. Run up to
them, and make sure no one else is
around besides your teammates. Get
down into a laying position. Then,
crawl into what appears to be the
body of the dead person, so it looks
like there are fragments of the body
around your HUD. Lower your gun,
but have it high enough to still see
what is coming. This trick will make it
harder for people to see you unless
they are paying close attention to the
ground. The flaws to this trick are
that people can sneak up from behind
and see you, and you can only see in
one direction without moving. After a
few kills, move to another location
because other players will pick up on
your trick and grenade or rush you.
Invincibility in Nacht Der Untoten
Play in Co-op mode. By the window at
the back that you can see a truck out
of, find a corner that is to the right of
that window. Have one player go
there, and crouch down. Have the
other player jump on top of him.
Then, have the player at the bottom
stand up. You should now be inside
each other and invincible as long as
you do not move. If a zombie comes
in, knife him. Shooting will not always
work.
Easy money in Nacht Der Untoten
For the first few rounds, let all the
zombies break down the boards and
come inside. Then, use your pistol or
knife to kill them to get more points
than simply shooting them once in the
head. A knife to the head will earn
130 points per kill. Once all of the
zombies are dead, patch up the
boards. You will have much more
money than if you simply killed them
as they approached. Note: After level
3, the zombies are too powerful to be
taken down this way.
Preparing for next round in Nacht
Der Untoten
At the end of each round, do not kill
the last zombie. Kill all of the others,
but allow one to live. When it has
entered the building, throw a grenade
at it to blow off its legs. It should now
crawl slowly on the ground, leaving
you plenty of time to patch up any
necessary windows. The next round
will not begin until you kill him. He is
easy to evade. Use this opportunity to
prepare for the next round. When you
are ready, kill him to end the round.
Hidden radio music in Nacht Der
Untoten
Start any type of Nazi Zombie game,
and unlock the door to the Mystery
Box room. Go to the Mystery Box. Go
over to the right, and look at a table
to find a radio. Shoot a bullet at the
radio. After a few seconds, you will
hear random types of music such as
rock, disco, opera, and some in-game
music such as the Russian victory
song, the final mission music, or the
Japanese combat music. The music
will stop in between rounds but will
then start again. Every player in game
should hear it.
Sniping locations
Airfield
In the middle of the map is a two
story concrete building. Place satchels
or Bouncing Bettys to protect your
location. There is also a large white
estate with a ladder and staircase in
front of it that can be used as a
sniping location.
Castle
There are many good sniping positions
on this map. The first is a small room
overlooking the garden and the front
staircase. To get to this room, either
climb the ladder or go up the stairs.
The second location is a small room
that has a clear line of sight into the
room mentioned above. To get to this
room, go to the bottom of the map,
and climb up the staircase. You
should be on a wooden porch that
connects to the gardens. Turn left,
and you will be in the room.
Cliffside
There are two concrete bunkers in
this map. Go to the one on the edge
of the cliff. From this room, you can
snipe players as they run by and also
shoot them trying the get in from
behind.
Courtyard
At the end of the courtyard, go into
the shack, and turn right. Use the
portion of wall that is jutting out to
hop into the tree.
Dome
There is a platform with a ladder on
the side of the building. To get to this
platform, you can either climb the
ladder or go up the stairs inside. This
spot connects to a ledge inside the
building.
Downfall
There is a bunker/cave in the upper
left corner of the map (second row of
buildings). This bunker has a clear
shot of enemy respawn points and has
good protection from tanks. Make
sure to use Bouncing Bettys to protect
yourself.
Hangar
On the second floor of the hangar is a
small room. From the outside, you
can get to it by climbing up the rubble
pile on the side of the building.
Go to the porch outside the hanger
entrance. Close to the hanger is a
large white carved stone. Jump on it,
and try and hop over the fence. You
will fail, but will land on the fence.
Makin
Go to the circular building, and look
through the stair entrance. There
should be a hut with two rectangular
windows overlooking the sandy area
that can be used as a sniper position.
Also, there is a tall building on the
water with windows overlooking the
entire map that can be used.
Outskirts
Once inside the church tower, look
through the circular window. There is
a white building with a small balcony
in the distance. Use it to snipe from.
Roundhouse
There is a platform/hallway that goes
over the middle of the map. To get to
it, go behind the trashed locomotives.
Climb up the staircase, and turn left
at the round platform. You should
have a good view of the whole
roundhouse in the middle of the map.
Upheaval
Towards the top of the map is
building with two windows that
overlook the whole area. Note: Other
players will try to get you.
Go into the house next to the burning
house. Stand on a windowsill, and
face the side. You should fall on a
ledge below.
Enter the burning house. Go up the
steps and out the window in the same
way to hit a ledge below.
Easy "Dead Air" achievement (Map
Pack 2 DLC)
Open the door that has "Comm" on it
in Shi No Numa. Then, open the door
where the perk machine is located.
There is a door on each side of the
perk machine. Go in the one on the
right. As soon as you enter that door,
take a left. There is a black phone
sitting on the table next to a radio. Go
to the phone, and hold [Reload]. You
may need to do this two or three
times. You will start to hear numbers
being dialed, it will start to ring, and
you will get the "Dead Air"
achievement.
Easy "Gunslinger" achievement
After you get to the sniper spot to kill
General Amsel, shoot all your pistol
ammunition. Then, switch to your
sniper rifle, then switch back to your
pistol. You should now have 80 rounds
of ammunition instead of only 13.
Easy "Hammer Time" achievement
(Map Pack 2 DLC)
Kill all but one zombie before they
tear down the window boards. Let the
last zombie live, and while he is
tearing down the window boards,
immediately repair them. Although
you will not get points for repairing
the boards, you will get the "Hammer
Time" achievement. It is funny to
watch the zombie get frustrated when
it makes no progress, but do not get
too close or it will reach through and
take a swing at you.
Easy "Rough Economy" achievement
Play through the "Vendetta" mission
until you get to the part where you
first assault the Nazis (directly after
you are blown out of the building,
then climb up a ladder with Sgt.
Reznov to fight). This is the part
where he talks about blowing up the
flamethrower's fuel-packs to take out
multiple enemies. Start killing
enemies, making sure to take out the
machine gunner in the far building,
as he can throw off your aim. During
the fight, four enemies will come out
on a balcony to the left, at about the
same height you are at. The closest
enemy will be too far away from the
others to get a group kill, and will
actively target you; kill him. Wait until
the remaining three enemies all stand
and line up, then shoot through all
three of them. They usually do not
target you, as they are concentrated
on the fight.
Play through the "Vendetta" mission.
After you shoot General Amsel's
guards and move up to the car with
the sergeant, a group of Nazis will
appear down the street. Do not follow
the sergeant. Instead, stay near the
car, and wait for three of the Nazis to
get in a line, then shoot.

Easy experience
To level up faster than usual, try to
use the same gun until all the
marksman and elite challenges are
completed. They provide huge boosts
and will quickly level you up to get
new guns. However, do not use those
guns yet; just keep on the challenge
until it has completed. The third
phase of the challenge usually ends
with 1,000 experience points, which
usually increases you a rank in itself.
Also, do not forget about the strange
challenges like jumping 15 feet and
surviving or falling 30 feet to your
death. To complete the fall 30 feet to
your death challenge if not previously
unlocked, play the "Countdown" map,
and jump into one of the open missile
silos. You will get instant experience
points for simply dying. Also,
remember to go prone and crouch to
get those challenges as well.
To level up, gain points, and complete
challenges easily, find a TDM game on
the "Shipment" map, preferably with
a lot of people. Make sure you have
the Steady Aim/Martyrdom/Stopping
Power Perks enabled, and choose a
gun you want to level up. Shipment is
a very small close shoulder-to-
shoulder map. Just run around
holding down the trigger, taking down
as many people as possible. This is
very fast paced, and you should get
points very quickly.
Play games such as Sabotage and
Ground War to get lots of experience
points because both games offer many
kills. Sabotage has a long clock, giving
you the opportunity to get many kills
or challenges. Also, look for Sabotage
on the "Wetworks" map. That map
takes a lot of time up.
Better accuracy
Once you get the Red Dot Scope add-
on to your weapons, use it over the
ACOG scope. The red dot will not
enhance or take away anything and
provides a better aim point on most
weapons. The ACOG scope will actually
add more range to your weapon, but
take away accuracy which
accomplishes almost nothing,
especially for snipers because it takes
away range and adds nothing.
Better sniping
If a target is moving, make sure to
lead it. If you are not making shots,
try to lead your target more. Also, if
you are a skilled sniper, try using the
M40A3 over the M21. It has a slower
reload time and rate of fire, but it has
enough damage to kill a target in one
shot instead of two or three. It also
allows you to be less noticeable with
less rounds being fired so someone
else cannot follow the tracer shot
back to you. A good setup for the
sniper is the Claymore Perk to alert
you when an enemy is trying to close
in on your rear, and either the Sleight
Of Hand or Stopping Power, then Iron
Lungs to give you more time to line up
your shots.
"No Fighting In The War Room"
mission checkpoints
Reach the listed location in the "No
Fighting In The War Room" mission
with at least the indicated amount of
time left to get a checkpoint:
Checkpoint 1: The corner after the
dining area/kitchen with 8 minutes 15
seconds
Checkpoint 2: Half way down the
stairs with 7 minutes 45 seconds
Checkpoint 3: After the large area of
creates and before the small corridor

door with 3 minutes 30 seconds

the wall to the war room with 1

Extra ammunition for R700 sniper in
Multiplayer mode
At level 38 in Multiplayer mode, you
get the Overkill Perk Class 2 (located
in the Perk 2 or Red Perks). This
allows you to carry two primary
weapons rather than a pistol. Some of
the guns in online play can share
ammunition. If you are a skilled
sniper and prefer the bolt action to a
semi-auto sniper, you can share
ammo between the R700 (unlocked at
level 34) and the G3 assault rifle
(unlocked at level 25). Instead of
having 40 rounds, you will have 152
rounds for the sniper, effectively
giving you an endless supply of ammo
for the R700. If you are a G3 user,
you will gain an extra 40 rounds (two
clips). This works both ways; since you
share ammunition, you might not
want to use too much ammo with the
G3. Also, there are more
combinations than just this one;
experiment with different guns to see
which ones can share ammo.
When you reach level 46, you will get
the M14 Assault Rifle. In the class
that you want to have the extra
ammunition, you will need the M14
Assault Rifle and M21 Sniper Rifle as
weapons. To use those two weapons,
you must have Overkill (obtained at
level 38) and your second Perk on
Overkill. For the other two Perks, you
can have whatever desired.
Good sniping location in Crossfire
map in Multiplayer mode
This spot can only be reached when
you are playing the old school free-
for-all section. Go to the building at
the very end of the map on the
opposite side of the bus. You can get
to the very top of the building that is
around the corner. First, get to the
second story where the chair is
found. Get on the top of the chair
facing the wall, and jump. You may
have to run and jump, but eventually
you will catch an edge. You can then
work your way up to a great sniping
position.
Dog attack in "All Ghillied Up"
mission
In the "All Ghillied Up" mission, you
will come across a wild dog eating a
dead soldier's remains. You will be
told to leave it alone, but if you want
a very difficult challenge in the game,
shoot it. You will be attacked by a
large pack of angry dogs.

After going down the stairs at the
very beginning of the "Crew
Expendable" mission, knife the drunk
soldier, then go into the room on

Easy "We Cannot Linger" achievement
After you have completed "The Mines Of Moria" mission, you
will have the option to replay it in Story mode or Free Play
mode. Play "The Mines Of Moria" mission again in Story
mode, and after a minute or two of playtime, pause the
game, select "Quit To Middle Earth", and choose to "Save
And Continue". You should get the "We Cannot Linger"
achievement without actually having to play the entire
mission and complete it in under 15 minutes. Note: This
same method can also be used to get the "I'm Glad To Be
With You." achievement.
